Ms. Ruth Chao is a creative director, graphic designer and artist. After launching her career in the world of design at British Vogue, she honed her skills designing for multiple brands and institutions, from Maison Martin Margiela to Isbabel Marant, Victoria Beckham, The Met Gala, Stella McCartney and more. Collaborating with clients spanning twelve industries and ten countries, including Estée Lauder, Mr Porter, Hypebeast, Tod's, MGM, Mandarin Oriental, and more, Ruth's creations for brands meld the innovative and the traditional, creating oil paintings, watercolours, flower scans, ink blotches, even tree prints and powder art to tailor to individual clients. In the recent years, she has won more than fifteen international design awards, and is one of the youngest creative directors to lead a win in the Berlin Red Dot Awards. She is amongst Hong Kong Tatler's Generation T and Perspective’s list of 40 under 40, is an Ambassador of Design of Hong Kong, and also their Art Director of Graphics.
