“After graduating college with an Economics degree, I knew I wanted to be in a different but creative field. After applying and getting accepted at Estee Lauder New York, I worked in the lux brands, Jo Malone and La Mer. After a year, I decided to experience the apparel industry and worked another four years in New York as an Account Executive for a children’s apparel company, where I worked closely with the Head of Sales overlooking twelve children fashion brands. Given that the company was still growing, I had the opportunity to work with the VP of Merchandising and Sales as well as the Production and Design teams. At the time, I didn’t know it but I was learning a great deal on the children’s apparel market that would be extremely relevant down the road! When I moved to Hong Kong, I worked for a global public relations company that helped me understand the importance of brand awareness and consumer engagement for any successful business.”
